FAQ - Absolute Cues

Frequently Asked Questions:

*Please note that these are quick answers and that for some these questions more in depth answers can be found on the Shipping and returns page or the Price Guarantee page.

Q:  What happens after my order is placed?

A:  We receive your order and after the purchase clears from the financial institution we process the order.

Q: Do you ship worldwide?

A: No, currently we only ship within the United States.

Q:  When does my product ship?

A:  Orders that are placed by 3PM EST, 1PM CST, 12PM PST (we have some leeway, but these time are simply put to play it safe)

Q:  How long does it take for the pool cue to get to my house?

A:  We use, FedEx, USPS and UPS for shipping all cues.  Our average delivery time is 3 business day to your door.  Depending on where you live, we have seen deliveries as quick as 2 days up to 4 days.

Q: I really want a cue and it's either always sold out or I miss it when it is back in stock, what do I do?

A:  If you really want a cue that is out of stock, send us an email, make the order on the site and we will simply guarantee that you get one when it is back in stock.  So, basically, be patient.  We have had customers wait up to 4 months to receive a cue that's on back order.  This happens frequently in the billiards industry.  A lot of time pool cues are made to order.  OB pool cues and Viking Pool cues sometimes takes up to 2 months before you get your pool cue.  Common practice here in Billiards.  You have to be patient.  So if you really want a pool cue, order it and wait.

Q:  My Pool Cue arrived and the packaging is damaged, what do I do?

A:  Every package that leaves our facility is in excellent condition.  If you see a dent in the corner, its fine.  If you really see that the package is damaged and at first instinct you know its not normal....  REFUSE THE PACKAGE!  It will come back to us, we will check it, and if there is a problem, it is easier for us to deal with it when it is refused.  For you, just send us an email that you refused the package and we will work on getting you another cue as soon as possible.  We do have to wait for it to come back first.

Q:  I'm looking for a specific pool cue and it is not listed on your site?

A:  Send us an email, there is a 99% chance we can get it.

Q:  Do you do Pool Cue Engravings?

A: Yes, only on Viking and Valhalla pool cues.  All engravings are final sales, no returns, but manufactures lifetime warranty will always be in order.

Q: Can I cancel my order?

A: Yes, if it has not shipped yet, we cancel the order, refund you the money 100%.  If it shipped, you have to refuse the delivery, we wait for it to come back, it needs to be inspected, then we refund you minus the cost of shipping both ways.

A2: Not if it is a Custom cue of the month / Viking Custom Power Buy / ANY Custom order / Or any order with an engraving.

Q: How long does it take for a cancelled order to be reflected on my credit card?

A: A refund is usually credited back to the customer in 3-5 days. During the order cancellation process, our merchant service provider is notified automatically to release the funds. At that point, Absolute Cues no longer has control of the timeframe and it is solely up to the reconciliation of the merchant service provider and the customer's credit card company.

Q:  I want to order a new shaft, but I do not know my Joint Size?

A: The best way to find the correct size of your joint is to count the amount of threads in a half inch and multiply that number by two. (Example: If you have 7 threads, then your joint size will be 5/16 by 14).

Q: I never bought a Pool Cue before and I can't decide what weight to order.

A: A simple answer, the standard cue weight is 19oz for playing, and heavier cues are used for breaking.  This is always however, players preference, so this answer is a simple guide.
